What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is run by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). The NDIS aims to provide support to Australians (as well as their families and carers) aged 7 – 65 who have a permanent and significant disability. The NDIS helps people with a disability to build skills and independence so they can access services and supports in their daily lives.

What is the NDIS eligibility criteria?
To access the NDIS, you or someone you care for must:
- Be 7 – 65 years old
- Be an Australian citizen or Australian resident
- Have a permanent and significant disability that requires support or special equipment

What is a permanent and significant disability?
Permanent disability means a person's disability is likely to be lifelong.
Significant disability means a disability that has a large impact on a person's ability to complete everyday activities.

How can I apply for the NDIS?
If you meet the eligible criteria you will need to complete the NDIS Access Request Form. You can find the Access Request form and information about how to complete the form by visiting the NDIS website.

What if my child or a child I care for is under 7 years of age?
If you are the parent or carer for a child with a developmental delay or disability you can contact a local Early Childhood partner. An Early Childhood partner may be able to help you understand and access supports. You do not need to be an NDIS participant to receive support from an Early Childhood partner.

How can I pay for my order?
Online purchases can be made by credit card (Visa and Mastercard) and PayPal. If you have an NDIS plan, you can also use your NDIS funds. You can learn more about NDIS purchases by visiting our NDIS page.

Where do you deliver?
We currently ship our products Australia-wide.

Do you offer free shipping?
Currently we do not offer free shipping. Shipping rates will be calculated and displayed at the checkout.

Am I able to collect my order?
You can choose to save on shipping fees with free local pickup from our Warners Bay location (link to map). After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 3 to 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready for collection.
Our in-store pickup hours are xx - xx on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

What if my order is damaged during shipping?
We are not liable for any damages to products or loss of items that may occur during shipping. If you have received your order with damages, please contact the shipping provider and lodge your claim.

When will my order arrive?
All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has been shipped.
Please note shipments may be delayed by a few days if we are experiencing a high volume of orders. We may also experience delays from our suppliers. If your item cannot be shipped, for any reason, within 5 days of your order being placed we will notify you via phone or email.
Downloadable resources

How many people can use each resource?
Therapedia resources are created with a single-user license, meaning that you are the only user. If you have colleagues that would like to also use this resource, they can do so by downloading another copy from therapedia.com.au

Can I use the resource in my workplace?
Each resource can be downloaded for your own personal use. This includes your home, office/therapy room or classroom.
However, you are unable to share any of Therapedia’s PAID resources with anyone outside of your own clients/students. -
Can I share FREE Therapedia resources?
If the resource you have downloaded is one of our FREE resources, you can share as many copies as you like.

Do I need to credit Therapedia when using the resources in my workplace?
Please credit Therapedia as the author of the downloaded resource. Please also make clients/students and their families aware that the resource is not to be printed or shared online with others.

How can I access my downloaded resources?
After purchase, you'll be sent a confirmation of your order. You can either click the My Account link in this email, or click here to log in to your 'My Account' area. A magic login link will be emailed to you, allowing you to log in without needing a password.
Once you're logged in, navigate to the My Downloads section, and click on the 'download now' button to save your resource to your computer or phone.

How do I purchase and download a resource?
Step 1
Click on the resource that you would like to purchase, select the quantity you would like to purchase and click the 'add to cart' button.
Step 2
After clicking 'add to cart' a pop up message will display a summary of the items you would like to purchase.
You can either continue shopping for more beautiful and useful resources or click through to check out.
Click the 'check out' button.
Step 3
After clicking the 'check out' button, you will be taken to the payment page.
If you have not created your Therapedia account, you will need to complete this step first.
After creating your account, you will need to provide your contact details and shipping details.
Then click the 'continue to payment' button.
Step 4
Complete your credit card details and click the 'pay now' button.
Step 5
After completing your payment you will be directed to a confirmation page thanking you for your purchase.
You will also receive an email confirming your order that will also contain a link to your 'My Account' area where you can download your resources.
Step 6Once you click on the link you will be directed to log in to your Therapedia 'My Account' area. From here, click on the 'Download Now' button and save your resource to your computer or phone.
You can also view previous purchases in your 'My Account' area.
